Dear Landlady,

I know we haven't mowed or watered the lawn this week yet, but there have been some problems.

They are called bugs.

You may not have noticed, but
The house we are renting from you was built in the forties or so.
The doors don't fit in the doorframes, there is little ventilation in the kitchen where there is a food, a sink and a washer and dryer, the vents are caked in dust, and the window screens all have holes in them.
In other words, our house is crawling with pointy legs and teeth.

We have enjoyed most of our eight months here, but it is time we leave. It seems that eliminating creeping things isn't on top of your priority list and we can't be spraying Raid everywhere when we have a newborn around.
